On 12 May, we told you what selling tier you would be in, based on your recent sales activity. Free selling is designed for casual sellers with simple selling needs. From 1 June, some advanced selling features will become exclusive to those with an eBay Pro subscription. Sellers in Pro Starter with less than $25,000 in total sales in the last 12 months have until 31 May to cancel their Pro Starter subscription if they want to move to free selling with immediate effect. After 1 June, these sellers can still cancel their subscriptions anytime but the cancellation will take effect on the 1st day of the following month (for example, 1 July). I made up the below question for anyone interested in such a challenge. I thought the first person to get it correct might come up with the next question. A clue though - if you copy one from a newspaper or magazine etc., the answer can often be found on the internet. I can explain the answer for anyone who asks. 🙂 The prisoner at the cave would not stand for the electrically charged droplets of water. Discussion Paypal pay in 4 I have been using the PayPal pay in 4 payment method for at least 3 years now without any problems, 3 weeks ago I tried to do a purchase but the pay in 4 was not working for me unfortunately. I rang PayPal but they weren't very helpful. I read somewhere that they can suspend pay in 4 for 180 days (that's a long time) . I think PayPal call it a Temporary security hold. Can anyone help with this problem? Thanks yesterday at 9:17 AM last reply 8 hours ago I have been using the PayPal pay in 4 payment method for at least 3 years now without any problems, 3 weeks ago I tried to do a purchase but the pay in 4 was not working for me unfortunately. Anyone else experiencing issues yesterday at 10:01 AM last reply 8 hours ago Dear Humans, if any? I have been receiving this ebay error page when signing in? Anyone else experiencing issues Discussion Buyer requested ROMs that were never included, then opened an “item not as described” claim — what can I do? seller protection selling listing Hi everyone, I’m an Australian eBay seller and I’m looking for advice from other sellers about a buyer dispute. I sold a USB drive containing Batocera. The original listing clearly stated that the product was Batocera on a USB drive and specifically stated that no games or ROMs were included . After purchasing the item, the buyer requested that games/ROMs be included. This was not part of the listing or the purchase. The buyer has now opened a return/dispute claiming that the item does not match the description . However, the item I supplied is what was advertised, and the listing clearly stated that no games were included. I have screenshots of the original listing and the buyer's messages showing what was requested. I have also reported the buyer's conduct through eBay. I’m concerned that I could lose the sale proceeds even though I supplied the product that was actually advertised. What would you recommend I do at this point? Should I appeal the case, provide the listing and buyer messages as evidence, or take any other steps? I’d really appreciate advice from experienced eBay sellers who have dealt with a similar situation. Discussion Issues paying with giftcards Anyone else having issues paying with gift cards at the moment? I have a couple of gift cards linked into my eBay account but when i apply them in checkout I can't click the confirm and pay button (it remains greyed out). Been ongoing for several days now, normally they work fine. Pretty annoying as I've bought an item and can't pay for it 2 years ago last reply yesterday at 10:37 PM Anyone else having issues paying with gift cards at the moment? Oh no, what a load of bollocks! 👇 " From 17 August, we’re rolling out Extended Bidding to help create fairer auctions and better outcomes for buyers and sellers. Extended bidding keeps the final moments of an auction open while bidding is active, creating a clear and confident close for both buyers and sellers. What is Extended Bidding? If someone places a bid in the final minute of an auction, we'll automatically extend the auction by a short period. This gives other interested buyers time to respond, instead of relying on who can place the fastest last-second bid. The result is a fairer auction where the winning bid better reflects what an item is worth. How It Works When a bid is placed during the final minute of an auction, the remaining time will reset to 60 seconds until all bidding stops. The auction continues until no more bids are placed during the final minute, giving everyone who's actively bidding the opportunity to respond." There already is a level playing field . . . everyone knows when an auction ends and has the opportunity to bid their maximum bid before auction end. Another nail, I think I'm closer to leaving now. 1 month ago last reply yesterday at 9:49 PM Oh no, what a load of bollocks! 👇 " From 17 August, we’re rolling out Extended Bidding to help create fairer auctions and better outcomes for buyers and sellers. Discussion Photo Make-Overs, Join The Fun! 8 years ago last reply yesterday at 1:51 PM Discussion eBay is misleading and giving misinformation I just sold an item for which I offered local pickup, we arranged a time for him to do the pickup as he is only a couple of kilometers away from me. When it came time to confirm the delivery details we realised eBay had not sent him any scans or codes to him for me to put in to confirm delivery. Also they do not have anyplace on my pages they mention for a code or scan to be entered. So basically it seems eBay is ripping me off by forcing me to post everything so I can get paid or else wait God only knows how many months till they release my money. And eBay wonders why they are becoming irreverent in the ecommerce world. yesterday at 2:23 AM last reply yesterday at 12:39 PM I just sold an item for which I offered local pickup, we arranged a time for him to do the pickup as he is only a couple of kilometers away from me.
