However, researching and maintaining fitment data across your inventory can take significant time and effort.Fitment Plus Auto (FPA) is designed to make that process easier. It automatically adds or updates compatible vehicle information on eligible listings, helping improve listing visibility while reducing the need to manage fitment data manually. What is Fitment Plus Auto?Fitment Plus Auto is an eBay feature that uses catalogue and marketplace data to enhance vehicle compatibility information on eligible Parts & Accessories listings. When your listing includes the correct brand and manufacturer part number (MPN), FPA can match the part with compatible vehicles and add the relevant fitment information to your listing. This supports eBay’s broader goal of improving the quality and coverage of compatibility data across the marketplace. How does it work?Starting 15 September, eligible sellers in fitment-enabled Parts & Accessories categories will be automatically enrolled in Fitment Plus Auto.FPA regularly reviews eligible listings and will:Add compatible vehicle information when a listing does not include any fitment data.Complete and update compatibility information when a listing includes some fitment data but is missing details.Continuously refresh fitment information as new or more accurate data becomes available in FPA.You do not need to create a new listing or manually apply the additional fitment information. What are the benefits?Reach more relevant buyersVehicle compatibility information helps your listings appear when buyers search for parts that fit their vehicle. More complete fitment coverage can help improve your listings’ visibility and sales potential.Help buyers purchase with confidenceClear compatible vehicle information makes it easier for buyers to understand whether a part is right for their vehicle, reducing uncertainty during the purchase journey.Spend less time managing fitmentFPA automatically adds and maintains fitment data, reducing the time and effort required to research and update compatibility information across your listings. What do I need to do?To give your eligible listings the best opportunity to receive fitment enhancements, make sure they include:• The correct product brand• The manufacturer part number, also known as the MPNThese details allow FPA to identify the part and match it with the appropriate compatible vehicles. Without an accurate brand and MPN, FPA may not be able to enhance the listing.Managing your Fitment Plus Auto settings (opting out or opting back in)Eligible sellers will be enrolled automatically, so you do not need to take any action to start benefiting from FPA.You can manage your participation through your Motors Selling Preferences. If you opt out, fitment information previously added by FPA will be removed from your listings. You can opt back in later to make eligible listings available for enhancement again. To learn more about how Fitment Plus Auto works and manage your settings, visit the Fitment Plus Auto Seller Centre page.Thank you for selling on eBay. Is there anything I as seller can do? Is there anything he as buyer can do other than report "item not received"? Needless to say, Ebay AI is not helpful, and refuses to let me speak to a human. 2 days ago last reply 24 minutes ago A customer is complaining he has not received a click and collect code, and the shop won't release the item without the code. Discussion One Word.... 'Sausages'. Do carry on.:-) 14 years ago last reply 26 minutes ago 'Sausages'. Do carry on.:-) Discussion Bundle Discounts – Great Idea, But Without Combined Postage Will They Work? Bundle Discounts – a good idea, but are they missing the most important part? I was quite excited to see eBay rolling out Bundle Discounts. Encouraging buyers to add more items to their basket in return for a bigger discount sounds like a great idea, particularly for sellers of lower-value collectables, stamps, postcards, cards, coins and other small items. But there seems to be one major problem: combined postage. If a buyer adds several £5–£10 items to qualify for a bundle discount, but their basket then shows the full postage charge for every individual item, the saving can quickly disappear. I suspect many buyers will simply abandon the basket when they see the total. Yes, sellers can refund excess postage afterwards, but new buyers don't necessarily know or trust that this will happen. They want to see the correct price before they pay . Free postage isn't necessarily the answer either. On low-value items the postage cost has to be built into each item's price. A multi-item buyer then effectively pays that built-in allowance several times while also receiving the bundle discount, which can wipe out much of the seller's benefit from encouraging a larger order. There are other limitations too. Sellers with large and varied inventories need much better control over which listings or categories receive particular bundle discounts. A buyer shouldn't be able to add a couple of very cheap items simply to trigger a large percentage discount on an expensive item. Returns appear to be handled sensibly, with the discount recalculated if returned items mean the buyer no longer qualifies for the original bundle tier. That's a welcome feature. But I think Bundle Discounts + proper automatic combined postage could be far more powerful than Bundle Discounts alone. Imagine being able to set: Buy more items → receive a bundle discount → eBay automatically combines the postage → buyer sees the correct total in their basket before paying. That could genuinely encourage buyers to browse a seller's shop, build larger orders and complete checkout. Bundle Discounts are a promising idea. But without solving combined postage, I fear eBay has built only half of the system. What do other sellers think? Would proper automatic combined postage make you more likely to use Bundle Discounts? 26 minutes ago Bundle Discounts – a good idea, but are they missing the most important part? Discussion Standard Sizing!!!!!!!!!!! "To help buyers find the right fit, clothing and footwear listings must use supported standard sizes." So the standard size for mens socks uk is 6-11 and womens 4-7 both these standard sizes are not available to select so i have to input an incorrect size either 6-8 or 9-11 to get it relisted! Have socks size 14-17 and the only size ebay has is 13-15 so again not customer friendly or correct and the list of similar goes on and on . Was this done by someone who has zero knowledge of clothing sizing? 1 week ago last reply 31 minutes ago "To help buyers find the right fit, clothing and footwear listings must use supported standard sizes." I packaged the item in bubble wrap, strong cardboard and shrink wrap. Several days later I received a message from the buyer who has 100% feedback and 2815 votes displaying the alleged state of the item upon receipt. I was able to refer the buyer back to GSP to resolve and have since learned they provided no evidence to back up their claim. Consider the evidence. Top left is black shrink wrap, top right and bottom left is very thick cardboard, bottom right is one of 7 vinyl LPs. I tend to agree with the conclusion of Google Gemini "It appears a single digital "bullet hole" or puncture overlay was pasted over the four different surfaces." Despite the issue having been resolved in my favour I am inclined to report this further just for the sheer stupidity of the buyer thinking they could get away with this!
