I have sound going out, again the mic on my computer. I can not get sound on my headset. It does not find my headset at all. It is a USB headset, I have tried plugging it into the dongle, and straight into the computer, neither works. I have done all updates, still no sound on my headset. Hel please. 100+ votes Report

To assist you more accurately, can you share with me more information through the following information: Are you having problems with your computer's built-in speakers or are you having problems connecting external speakers? Have you tried changing the speaker output device in other applications? Have you checked to see if you accidentally muted the speakers? With the information you provided, there are 2 possible cases: Case 1: The speaker/mic device built into your computer is damaged by the manufacturer Case 2: The speaker/mic device built into your computer is faulty due to the speaker driver being corrupted For more accurate judgment, you can try these tests and options of mine and can let me know the results of those tests so that I can support you better: Right-click the speaker icon in the taskbar and select Sound settings Under Output , ensure your speakers or headset are selected. If none appear, proceed to the next steps. Under Input , check if a microphone is listed and selected.
