I am running OneNote for windows 10 and while I take notes, occassionally all my text will be removed and transposed letter by letter vertically below and I can't undo it. Is there a way to prevent it from doing this or at least enable me to undo it to put the text back horizontally? I've noticed it's usually when I zoom in to write something that this happens(see image below). And after all the characters are selected, if I put the wrong button (enter or spacebar or start writing) it pastes each character in a single vertical column. Have you tried to open Office apps in safe mode as recommended above? If so, were you able to access OneNote while in safe mode? Should the issue remain, we suggest that you install Office updates .
