A trip to the Falkland Islands is a trip of a lifetime, though many visitors choose to visit again and again ……..
Choose to spend several days in the Falklands
Many travel agencies and tour operators will make all the necessary arrangements including international flights and an island-hopping itinerary complete with all internal travel arrangements and accommodation bookings. Click here for a list of Falkland specialists or contact either of the following Falkland based Tour Operators on the Island Falkland Island Holidays , The Falklander Travel Ltd or International Tours & Travel . Most will customise to your requirements, helping to select destinations around the archipelago to meet your interests and budget. Alternatively, ask for suggestions of tried-and-tested options.
Combine your visit with South America. The Falkland Islands are just a short distance from Punta Arenas, Chile. With weekly flights, the Falklands are an excellent add-on as part of a South American tour; a little piece of Britain in the South Atlantic with fantastic history, hospitality and unrivalled wildlife experiences. Contact a South American travel specialist to find out more.
Independent travellers can choose to visit the Falklands as a single destination or as part of a wider globe-trotting itinerary. Click here to find out more.
Choose to visit from a cruise vessel
The Falkland Islands form part of many cruise itineraries. This stop-off which usually includes our lovely little capital city of Stanley, offers opportunities to enjoy guided tours further afield on East Falkland, explore Stanley on a tour or at your own pace or even take to the air for a bird’s eye view. Some cruises also call at smaller islands of the archipelago. There are many cruise operators to choose from - consult this listing to find your ideal operator.
