Word 365 account for an English Teacher Forces all Text Left (Word for Windows)
发布时间:2026-10-07 | 浏览:1
The teacher is trying to grade papers. Kids share the paper to the teacher. All their indents are forced left. Even if they share view only, her view is all text indents don't show. But if the kid stays logged on the doc and she opens it, view or edit, the text is forced to eh left, but a second later the indents are back and she can see the student cursor. Also, if she indents, the indents will stay.
I have looked through all the paragraph settings. I see nothing different.
If the same docs are shared with other people, they are fine. Once shared with her, all indents are lost, even on the original. But when she indents, they are saved again, even on the original.
What setting is this?

But from what I understand, come October 31, 2021, O365 will no longer link or have an option to open in Word 2016. Mainstream support for Office 2016 ended last year (October 13, 2020); see https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/lifecycle/products/microsoft-office-2016 . What is going to change on October 31, 2021? Note that you can still run an unsupported product, for as long as it works with your hardware and operating system. 0 comments No comments

If a student uses an indented style, such as Body Text First Indent or Body Text Indent, it might still be changed (if the student had modified the indent), but it would not be flush left. The solution in this case, however, would be for the teacher to clear the "Automatically update" setting. 0 comments No comments

Anonymous 2021-10-09T16:07:32+00:00 Is that just for the desktop versions? The teacher has Word 2016, but when she opens docs they are only in browser via A3 O365. I did check the Template and Add-on setting on her 2016 Word. It is normal. I saw an XML add on, but that is probably standard, too. I have not found any settings on her Word docs, or student Word docs, that are non-default. 0 comments No comments
